So, the other day I was outside on my deck feeding the birds and chipmunks (so cute!!). It had just finished raining, so the deck was really slippery. You can pretty much guess what happened. I was walking, when all of a sudden, both feet slipped, and I ended up doing the splits and then somehow landing on one leg.....and ended up sprawled face first, spread eagled, on the deck. So. Ken was at work, so I had no one to help me (lol, it was pathetci!) After spending 15 minutes crying, I had to slide myself towords the table and pull myself up. It was slimy!! I finally was able to get into the house, change (I was all muddy and slimy from the deck) and get to the couch. I had a really big, bruised bump on my left shin, and my arms and legs were beginning to ache. Luckily, Ken came home. So, I am now all achy from doing the splits (yep, this plus sized girl does not do that willingly) and my leg is killing me. Thank goodness I didn't hit my head on the table or break/sprain anything!! Needless to say, I spent yesterday on the couch watching endless re-runs of Friends and icing the bump on my leg (which was the size of a baseball). Today I hope to make beads, but it might be slow going. I feel like I was hit by a truck! So yeah. OW. And yes, I scared the hell out of the birds. And was a nice source of entertainment for my cat. Hehehehe
